Consummate practitioners of the dark arts, Warlocks embrace the grim forces of entropy and death. Protected within a cloak of shadows, they lurk on the edges of the conflict, as their deadly energies inevitably consume all that stand in their way.

Strengths

Warlocks specialize in destructive curses that eat away at an opponent’s body and soul. A Warlock is capable of rapidly spreading their blight across the battlefield, or focusing all of their entropic power to eradicate a single target in mere moments.

Weaknesses

Warlocks can cast their lethal curses with but a word, but like death itself, they are slow and inexorable. This gives enemies a small window of opportunity to overcome them with a rapid and brutal assault.

Gameplay

Most of Warlocks damage comes from damage-over-time spells and punishing the opponent for attacking them or performing actions. They can sacrifice some of their health to gain temporary bonuses and afterwards they can leech the health back from the enemies.

History

Death has always been the most corrupting of arcane influences. At best, Mages who seek to master its power inevitably plunge into madness, while the worst wretches slowly succumb to the temptations of the Endless Court, becoming thralls of Regulos.

Neddra was one such Mage: a prodigy who saw death as the only depth left unconquered in the arcane world. For her studies, Neddra was cast out of Quicksilver College, branded a heretic and follower of Regulos. Undeterred, she journeyed north, deep into those ancient lands of Mathosia where the corruption of the Shade still held sway.

What Neddra discovered on her journey remains a mystery, but none will deny the power she obtained. For years, she waged war against the Endless Court, rooting out and destroying their hidden cells within the colleges of magic. Many young Mages followed in Neddra’s footsteps. These disciples, known as Warlocks, believe that only those who master death can banish the darkness from Telara.

Neddra’s Torture Curses the enemy, increasing all Death damage taken by 15% for the next 20 seconds. Upon expiration Neddra’s Torture deals 25 to 28 Death damage to the enemy.
Lingering Pain You have a 2/4/6/8/10% chance to have the cast time for your next spell reduced by 100%.
Neddra’s Grasp Places a dark presence on the enemy, causing them to suffer 16 Death damage each time they perform an action, up to 5 times over the next 15 seconds. +9 Charge.
Neddra’s Influence Increases the damage dealt by your damage over time spells by 5/10/15%.
Vitality Increases your maximum health by 2/4/6/8/10%.
Dark Fury Strikes the enemy with dark energies, causing 24 to 27 Death damage and stunning them for 1 second.
Potency Increases the Critical Hit chance of your spells by 1/2/3/4/5%.
Draining Bolt Blasts the enemy with a bolt of dark energy, causing 59 to 63 Death damage and healing the Mage by 50% of the damage done.
Improved Dark Fury Increases the duration of Dark Fury’s stun by .5/1/1.5 seconds.

Shadow Life Increases the caster’s total max health by 50%, for 20 seconds, and heals them for 50% of their new total max health.
Dark Power Increases your spell damage by 2/4/6/8/10%.
Radiate Death Causes the Dark Touch and Neddra’s Grasp effects on the targeted enemy to spread to up to 6 other enemies within 10 meters.
Improved Warlock Armor Your Warlock Armor also increases the damage you deal by 2/4/6%.
Neddra’s Essence Imbues the Mage with the power of Neddra, reducing incoming damage by 80% for 7 seconds.

Life Leech Places a leeching effect on the target, causing 28 Death damage over 12 seconds and healing the Mage by 30% of the damage done.
Void Bolt Hurls a bolt of dark energy at the enemy, causing 17 to 19 Death damage.
Dark Touch Places a dark presence on the enemy, causing 40 Death damage over 16 seconds.
Dark Armor Surrounds the Mage with dark energy causing 6 Death damage to attackers when hit. Only 1 Armor may be active at a time.
Sacrifice Life: Mana Sacrifices 15% of the Mage’s maximum health to increase their mana by 15% of their maximum mana.
Reconstruct Channels the Mage’s Charge into Health. Consumes Charge while channeling.
Neddra’s Strength Neddra’s power flows through the ally, increasing their Endurance by 5 for 1 hour.
Fear Strikes fear in the heart of the enemy, causing them to run in fear for up to 10 seconds. The enemy can take up to 15% of their maximum health in damage before the effect will break. Fear can only affect 1 target at a time.
Wither Reduces the enemy’s movement speed by 70% for 8 seconds.
Devouring Shadows Calls upon the shadows to rise up and torture enemies in the area of effect for 163 Death damage over 6 seconds.
Sacrifice Life: Damage Sacrifices 15% of the Mage’s maximum health to increase their damage by 10% for 15 seconds.
Mortality Channels a vortex of darkness around the Mage, causing 277 to 282 Death damage to up to 5 nearby enemies. The caster gains 100% of the damage caused in health. Consumes Charge while channeling.
Neddra’s Might Neddra’s power flows through all group and raid members within 25 meters, increasing their Endurance by 10 for 1 hour. Consumes a Glowing Extract when cast.
Warlock Armor Surrounds the Mage with dark energy causing 16 Death damage to attackers when hit and healing the Mage for 7 health. Only 1 Armor may be active at a time.
Choke Chokes the enemy, silencing them for 5 seconds.
Sacrifice Life: Speed Sacrifices 15% of the Mage’s maximum health to decrease their spell casting time by 30% for 15 seconds.
Mass Fear Strikes fear in the heart of the enemies near the caster, causing up to 5 of them to run in fear for up to 10 seconds. Affected enemies can take up to 15% of their maximum health in damage before the effect will break.
Empowered Darkness Buffs the Mage increasing all damage they deal by 75%. Consumes Charge while active. Charge cannot be gained while active. Does not trigger a global cooldown.
