Templar

Templar is a PvP focused soul from the cleric calling in Rift.

The architects of the warlike Souls honed the faith and focus of a Cleric into a deadly combatant. Templars are skilled at both offense and defense, and adept at swinging the tide of battle. The Templar is hardened for battle while retaining their faith, whether that faith calls for the Templar to heal their comrades, smite their enemies, or merge both doctrines. Templars are unstoppable in the cause of their patron, and no injury, no poison, no mere spells can stop them.

Name Description
Arcane Avoidance Increases your Magical Resistance by (1/2/3/4/5).
Resilient Reduces the chance you will be Critically Hit by players by (3/6/9/12/15%).
Celestial Bonds Your heals on players who are under the effects of Stuns, Roots and Fears shield the ally with Celestial Bonds for 10 seconds, absorbing 100 damage (Requires Arcane Avoidance Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 2)
Arcane Defenses Reduces the spell damage you take from players by (3/6/9/12/15%) (Requires Resilient Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 2)
Rolling with the Punches Your heals on players who are under 50% health increase the ally’s damage against players by (5/10%) for 10 seconds. (Requires Reinforce Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 3)
Reinforce Your heals reduce the damage the ally takes from players by (3/6%) for 10 seconds. (Requires Celestial Bonds Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 3)
Quick Recovery Reduces the cast time of your next spell by (25/50%) whenever you are stunned. (Requires Arcane Defenses Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 3)
Blessing of the Martyr Any damage you receive greater than 10% of your total health triggers Blessing of the Martyr, reducing damage taken from players by 5% for 10 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times. (Requires Quick Recovery Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 3)
Echoes of Ascension Gives the Cleric the option to resurrect with 20% of their health upon their next death. Lasts 15 minutes. (Requires Rolling with the Punches Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 4)
Little Off the Top Whenever you use a single target heal, you receive (5/10/15%) of the healing done. (Requires Reinforce Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 4)
Improved Break Free Reduces the cooldown of your Break Free by (1/2/3 minutes). (Requires Quick Recovery Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 4)
Last Gasp Reduces the duration of player-cast Silences that affect you by (1/2 seconds). (Requires Blessing of the Martyr Rank 1. Requires PVP rank: Rank 4)
Mark of Purification Your single target heals have a (5/10/15/20/25%) chance to remove a single Poison, Disease, or Curse. (Requires Echoes of Ascension Rank 1. Requires PVP rank: Rank 5)
Creeping Remedy Your single target heals heal one additional party or raid member for (10/20/30/40/50%) of the healing done. (Requires Little Off the Top Rank 3. Requires PVP rank: Rank 5)
Ethereal Shell Whenever you are afflicted by Stun, Root, or Silence, you take (5/10/15/20/25%) less damage from players for the next 8 seconds. (Requires Improved Break Free Rank 3. Requires PVP rank: Rank 5)
Blessing of Stone While you are stunned, (4/8/12/16/20%) of all damage taken is converted into healing which affects all nearby party and raid members, excepting the Cleric. (Requires Last Gasp Rank 2. Requires PVP rank: Rank 5)
Overload Causes all damage done to the ally to reflect 50% back onto the enemy and convert 50% into healing. Lasts 10 seconds. (Requires Mark of Purification Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 6)
Spirits of Life Summons a Spirit of Life which heals nearby party or raid members for 389 to 395 health every 2 seconds. Lasts 30 seconds. (Requires Creeping Remedy Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 6)
Retribution Transfers 50% of all healing used on the enemy to the Cleric. Lasts 15 seconds. (Requires Ethereal Shell Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 6)
Bulwark of Will Grants immunity to Crowd Control and increases damage and healing done to players by 10% for 10 seconds. (Requires Blessing of Stone Rank 5. Requires PVP rank: Rank 6)

Root Skills

Name Description
Break Free Removes all crowd control and movement imparing effects. Does not trigger a global cooldown
Detaunt Reduces the enemy player’s damage against the Cleric by 50%. Any hostile action used on the enemy by the Cleric will cancel the effect.
Barb of Shackles Causes players who strike the Cleric with melee abilities to be Snared, reducing their movement speed by 30% for 8 seconds. Lasts 5 minutes.
Healing Momentum Heals up to 6 party of raid members for 536 to 543 health.
Greater Empowerment Causes the Cleric’s next spell to be cast instantly and Critically Hit. Does not trigger a global cooldown.
